She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention, and officials reported her condition as stable.

In a similar incident last year, a woman attempted to end her life by jumping into the Jhelum River in Safakadal, Srinagar. Fortunately, locals and police intervened, rescuing her and reuniting her with her family after counseling.
