Srinagar, Mar 07 A truck driver was killed in an accident inside Navyug tunnel on late Thursday night, an official said.
The official told news agency Kashmir Bulletin that one Sukhdev Singh, son of Bakhtawar Singh, a resident of Pallipora Punjab, driving a truck bearing registration number PB-02/CR 9118, met with an accident inside the tunnel, leading to his instant death.
“The body of the deceased was later retrieved from inside the tunnel and will be handed over to the family after conduct of necessary medico-legal formalities,” added the official. (KB)
