A horrific incident occurred in Rajasthan’s Dausa district, where 25-year-old Hansraj Meena was brutally murdered for refusing to apply Holi colors. The incident took place in a public library in Ralwas village, where Hansraj was preparing for competitive exams. According to CCTV footage, three brothers – Ashok, Bablu, and Kaluram – attacked Hansraj, kicking him, thrashing him with belts, and ultimately strangling him to death.
The incident sparked widespread outrage, with family members and villagers staging a protest, blocking a national highway until 1 am on Thursday. They demanded compensation of ₹50 lakh, a government job for the family, and the immediate arrest of the accused. The police have identified the accused through CCTV footage and have formed a six-member team to arrest them.
The Additional Superintendent of Police, Dinesh Agarwal, assured that appropriate action will be taken against the accused, who are currently absconding. The incident highlights the need for stricter laws and measures to prevent such brutal crimes.
