In a major blow to terror financing networks, Srinagar Police attached a Khanyar residential property worth ₹1.5 crore on Saturday, alleging its acquisition through illicit terror funds.
The 8-marla property at Shallabagh, owned by Mohammad Yousuf Shah, was seized under UAPA provisions linked to FIR No. 48/2024. Authorities confirmed the current occupant, Masood Hussain Shah, is barred from any transactions involving the asset.
“This systematic action disrupts terror ecosystems,” stated police, highlighting ongoing efforts to dismantle financial networks threatening national security. The seizure follows investigations establishing the property’s terror financing links. (Source: JKNS)
