The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has announced new school timings for Kashmir, effective April 1, 2025. Schools within the municipal limits of Srinagar will operate from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, while schools outside the municipal limits will operate from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
This change aims to optimize the school schedule and ensure uniformity across schools in the region. The new timings will apply to all government and private recognized schools in Kashmir. The DSEK order, conveyed by the competent authority, confirms the new school timings, which will come into effect from April 1, 2025.
