Special Police Officer Mohd Razaq of Bindi Jamola died Thursday after falling from a private bus (JK02DE-1671) at Dheri Ralyote. The 32-year-old was pronounced dead on arrival at PHC Manjakote.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into whether the incident resulted from mechanical failure, reckless driving, or other factors.
The tragedy highlights transportation safety concerns for security personnel in hilly terrain. This marks the second fatal public transport accident in Rajouri this month.
