Srinagar, Apr 01 (KB): Officials have rebuffed reports citing killing of a militant in ongoing Panjtarni Kathua encounter..An official told news agency Kashmir Bulletin that the operation is going on at the site in Panjtarni, but no militant has been killed thus far.
“There has been intermittent exchange of gunfire going on, even as more forces’ being called in at the site to nullify chance of escaping of any militant,” the official said.
The official further said that DGP, IGP Jammu and others top Police officers are closely monitoring the ongoing operation, which started with the exchange of gunfire on Monday evening.
