A non-local man died on the spot after being struck by Train No. 74614 near Chodribagh (km 74) on the Budgam-Baramulla railway line early Tuesday.
Railway police confirmed the victim’s identity remains unknown, with the body shifted for post-mortem.
Authorities are investigating whether the incident was accidental or intentional.
