Srinagar, Apr 08 (KB): A woman who had gone missing from yesterday, has been found dead in Bandipora.
Reports reaching news agency Kashmir Bulletin said that one Rehmat Jan, wife of Mohammad Nawab Chouhan, a resident of Authwatoo Bandipora, had gone missing since Monday morning.
After searching for her, the body was today morning found lying near Beacon Headquarters in Bandipora.
Confirming it, a police official told Kashmir Bulletin that the deceased woman had been mentally unwell. “We have initiated inquest proceedings into the incident,” added the official. (KB)
