J&K Government Advertises 621 New Positions in Health Sector

The Jammu and Kashmir administration has advertised 621 new positions in the Health and Medical Education Department as part of efforts to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and generate employment. Health Minister Sakeena Itoo confirmed the recruitment drive on social media, stating it aligns with Chief Minister’s vision for improved medical services and youth empowerment.

The vacancies, spanning various medical and paramedical roles, mark the largest single recruitment initiative in J&K’s health sector this fiscal year. Officials indicate selections will prioritize remote and underserved areas to address healthcare disparities across the Union Territory. (Source: KNS)
