March 24, 2025: In a continued effort to combat terrorism and maintain peace in the region, Awantipora police conducted raids at multiple locations across the district today.
The raids were carried out in connection with the investigation of terror-related cases, specifically FIR No.2/2024, 24/2024 of Police Station Pampore, and 03/2024 of Police Station Awantipora.The targeted locations included the residences of members and activists of banned organizations, such as Tehreek-e-Hurrayat, JKDFP, and JK Peoples League. The raids were conducted in the presence of concerned executive magistrates, ensuring that all necessary protocols were followed.
The Awantipora police remain committed to maintaining peace and security in the region, taking strict and lawful action against those involved in unlawful activities. These raids will continue until terrorism is eradicated from the grassroots level, creating a peaceful atmosphere in the Police District Awantipora.
