Himanshi Narwal, wife of Indian Navy Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, who was killed in the Pahalgam terror attack, has made a heartfelt appeal for unity and peace. She urged citizens not to direct their anger toward Muslims or Kashmiris, instead advocating for peace and justice. Her statement comes amid reports of targeted harassment and violence against Muslims and Kashmiris following the attack.
Lieutenant Narwal was given a military farewell at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, attended by Navy personnel, family members, and political leaders. Himanshi, overcome with grief, broke down while saluting her husband’s coffin. She emphasized the importance of upholding her husband’s pride and legacy.
Unfortunately, the attack has sparked communal tensions, with incidents of violence and discrimination reported against Muslims and Kashmiris in various parts of India. In contrast, Himanshi Narwal’s message promotes peace and unity, reminding the nation of the importance of not letting hatred prevail. Her appeal stands as a beacon of hope and calm in a time of grief and anger.
