Srinagar Police have arrested two individuals, Imtiyaz Ahmad Machloo and Muneer Ahmad Sofi, in connection with a culpable homicide case in Bemina. The case began when Police Station Bemina received information about an unidentified male body in the flood spill channel near Darul-Uloom, Bemina, on February 17, 2025. A police team collected evidence and initiated proceedings, leading to a preliminary inquiry that suggested culpable homicide not amounting to murder. An FIR was registered, and an investigation was launched, resulting in the arrest of the two suspects. The police are continuing their investigation into the case.
