Police apprehended a brother-sister duo with 550 grams of heroin near Miran Sahib on Thursday, marking another blow to narcotics networks in the region.
The accused, Gurjeet Singh and Navneet Kour of R.S. Pura, were intercepted during routine checking at Balol checkpoint while riding a scooty.
This seizure follows the June arrest of their mother in a Punjab drug case. Investigators are probing the supply chain and financial trails linked to the contraband, valued at ₹70 lakh internationally.
