Awantipora Police Launch Dedicated Helpline for The Victims of Terro’rism

In a proactive move to support affected families, Police District Awantipora has established a dedicated helpline (01933-247702) for victims of terrorism-related incidents. Operational Monday through Saturday (10 AM – 6 PM), this initiative aims to streamline grievance registration and expedite assistance.

The newly formed cell at the District Police Office will document cases and coordinate with relevant authorities for swift resolution. “We’re committed to providing comprehensive support to victims and ensuring their concerns reach the appropriate channels,” stated a police spokesperson.

This measure reinforces J&K Police’s victim-centric approach in terrorism-affected areas, offering a structured platform for redressal while maintaining confidentiality. Citizens are encouraged to utilize the service for any terrorism-related grievances.
