A fierce gunfight erupted between security forces and terrorists in the remote Dul area of Kishtwar district early Sunday morning. The Indian Army’s White Knight Corps confirmed the operation through an official post on X (formerly Twitter), stating alert troops had established contact with terrorists during an intelligence-based operation.
Official sources told Global News Service (GNS) that at least two heavily armed terrorists are believed to be trapped in the forested terrain. The exchange of fire continues as security forces have cordoned off the area, with additional reinforcements being deployed.
