*Srinagar Feb 22 (KB): Following the removal of a signboard by the police urging tourists to refrain from consuming alcohol, Kashmir’s preacher, Aga Syed Mohammad Hadi, criticised the administration and police for removing it.In a post on X, as per Kashmir Bulletin he questioned why the Jammu and Kashmir Police or the establishment could not tolerate the simple request from Kashmiris asking tourists to avoid alcohol and drugs in public places. “Why couldn’t they leave it up for even an hour? Are they not part of the campaign for a drug-free Kashmir?” he said.The signboard had been put up by the Lal Chowk Traders Association, urging locals to avoid liquor in the city. (KB)
