MP Aga Ruhullah Named in Major Land Scam: ACB Files Chargesheet Against 22.
In a startling development, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday filed a chargesheet against 22 individuals, including Member Parliament Aga Syed Ruhullah and six of his relatives, in connection with tampering of revenue records. The case (FIR No. 18/2009) was filed under various sections of the J&K PC Act and RPC before the Special Judge ACB Court, Kashmir. The accused also include two former LAWDA Collectors, four government officials, and 16 beneficiaries allegedly involved in the illegal manipulation of official documents to benefit the Aga family in Budgam.
