A CRPF personnel was rushed to hospital in critical condition Sunday morning following an apparent self-harm incident at the Panthachowk Yatra Transit Camp. According to Kashmir News Corner (KNC) sources, gunfire was reported inside the camp around 09:45 am , sending security teams scrambling to the scene.
The injured has been identified as a Head Constable from CRPF’s 62 Battalion, hailing from Lakhisarai, Bihar. Preliminary investigations suggest he sustained injuries from his service weapon. He was immediately evacuated to PCR Kashmir’s trauma center, where doctors are battling to save his life.
