Srinagar, Apr 09 (KB): Justice Sanjeev Kumar has been appointed as Chief Justice of the Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court, as per a notification issued by Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India.The Ministry has invoked Article 223 to implement the order.
The appointment of Sanjeev Kumar, who currently is serving as judge of J&K and Ladakh High Court, as per the notification, according to news agency Kashmir Bulletin, will be effective from April 10, 2025, following the retirement of Chief Justice Tashi Rabstan on April 9. (KB)
