03 Persons Booked Under PSA in Kathua For Their Involvement in Anti-National Activities

Police in Jammu and Kashmir have arrested three individuals under the Public Safety Act (PSA) for their alleged involvement in criminal and anti-national activities. Two of the accused, Ghulam Haider and Mohd Saleem, were booked for anti-national activities in the Kathua district. Haider, a resident of village Lohai, has a history of illegal and anti-national activities, while Saleem, from village Badnota Moraha, is accused of habitual involvement in such activities.

Dossiers were prepared against both individuals and submitted to the district magistrate, leading to their detention and transfer to jails in Udhampur and Jammu. In a separate incident, Happy Choudhary, a notorious criminal from Jammu’s Hakkal village, was detained under the PSA for his involvement in violent offenses, including attempt to murder and possession of illegal arms ¹.
