JKBOSE Blunders Again: Class 10th Exam MCQ Contains No Correct Answer

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has made a shocking mistake in the Class 10th Social Studies examination. A multiple-choice question asked students to identify the first president of the Indian National Congress (INC), but none of the four options provided were correct. The correct answer is Womesh Chandra Banerjee, who served as the first president of INC in 1885.

This blunder has left students frustrated and questioning the board’s credibility. It exposes the deep-rooted non-seriousness of JKBOSE towards academic integrity and raises concerns over the competence of the board in preparing question papers. Students, parents, and educationists are demanding immediate accountability and wondering if JKBOSE will take responsibility and award grace marks or brush this incident under the carpet .
