The Meteorological department Srinagar predicts light to heavy rainfall and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir due to an approaching Western Disturbance. Initially, light rain is expected on February 18, followed by moderate rainfall on February 19. The intensity will increase on February 20, with heavy rain or snow in some areas. The Kashmir Valley may see initial rain, potentially turning to snow in higher areas. Temperatures will drop, ranging from 15°C to 7°C. The Jammu region is expected to receive more rainfall, with the Pir Panjal range likely to see heavy snowfall. Weather conditions will improve from February 21 onwards.
