A convoy collision involving four Amarnath Yatra buses near Chanderkote left 25 pilgrims injured on Saturday, with officials attributing the accident to brake failure in one vehicle.
Deputy Commissioner Ilyas Khan confirmed all injuries were minor after visiting District Hospital Ramban.
“Most pilgrims have been discharged after first aid,” he told JKNS, adding that alternate buses were arranged to continue their journey.
The incident occurred when a Pahalgam-bound bus lost control, triggering a chain reaction. Police and medical teams responded swiftly, with investigations ongoing into the mechanical failure. (Source: JKNS)
