A 19-year-old youth from Batamaloo, Srinagar, died while another sustained injuries after their scooty was hit by a truck near Wullar Vantage in Bandipora on Monday.
The victims, both residents of Batamaloo, were rushed to District Hospital Bandipora, where doctors declared Irshad Manzoordead on arrival. The injured youth is currently undergoing treatment, with police investigating the accident.
