Security forces arrested three terrorist associates during a joint operation in Handwara’s Hajin Kralgund area on Thursday. The operation was conducted by a combined team of police, army and CRPF personnel.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Mohd Iqbal Pandith from Bunpora Langate, Sajad Ahmad Shah from Chekparin and Ishfaq Ahmad Malik from Kralgund. All three were allegedly working as associates of terrorist groups operating in the region.
During the operation, security forces recovered significant ammunition including one pistol, two pistol rounds, twenty AK-47 rounds and twenty propaganda posters from the suspects’ possession. The recovery suggests their involvement in supporting terrorist activities.Police have registered a case and initiated a thorough investigation into the matter.
These arrests are part of the ongoing efforts to dismantle terror networks in North Kashmir. The operation highlights the continued vigilance of security forces in the region.
