In a devastating late-night accident, two Jammu and Kashmir Police Sub-Inspectors lost their lives while a third was critically injured when their vehicle crashed on Tengen Bypass in Nowgam. The incident occurred during the intervening night of August 10–11, according to officials speaking to Kashmir News Corner (KNC).
The deceased have been identified as: – SI Sachin Verma, 23 BN IRP (SANJY-2025 duty at Pantha Chowk) – SI Shubam Sait, 21 BN IRP (SANJY-2025 duty at Awantipora) The injured officer, SI Mastan Singh(23 BN IRP posted at Awantipora Railway Station), is currently undergoing treatment at SMHS Hospital. All three were traveling in a Kia vehicle when the accident occurred.
